Seasons Change....so do Children

This is one of those "omygosh" type photos....what you see in the upper left is a framed photo on the wall of Haley as a pre-schooler.....eyes looking up into her future (she seems to be thinking, what will I be when I grow up?)
She was sooo cute at that age...my favorite actually. My blonde-blue eyed angel.

Ok, so fast forward 17 years. It took a wig to make her my blonde-blue eyed angel again! How she's changed...I've said it here before,
ATTITUDE!

AWARENESS

It's not just my birthday weekend, it's also my 7th year as a Survivor of Breast Cancer
So wear the word wherever you can...as long as you wear it!



Haley, her boyfriend and the bald, fat guy took me out to dinner tonite for my b-day which actually is tomorrow.
I did have a Kettel One, and glass of wine, so this is short and sweet.

The Big 5.OhS!

Before you start singing Happy Birthday, this was last years' pics celebrating the 5oth birthdays of my Encina High reunion group. We get together every chance we get, not just to plan our reunions.



















Interestingly enough, this layout was interrupted with a trip to the ER with Mom...she's fine, however the next day, I couldn't reach her. THAT was more scary than the original trip to ER...turns out, she took a friend to the ER...yeesh.

For the first time in a long time, I actually feel like really pulling all my favorite decorations out!

A day to just be.....

Whatever floats your boat, 6Flags (aka MarineWorldUSA) has it all...
Our company sponsored our annual picnic there this year (yup! parking, entrance, food and drinks!!!) and I took Haley and her BF Chris.
They took off to do their thing, while one of my co-workers and I just did adult things like the animal shows and getting lost.

Labor Day

At the California State Fair, we are blessed to have a 9/11 Memorial. It was one of the first exhibits I visited. They really should have tissues available for guests.
