This was how the little trip began...with a few pleasant things on our pillows welcoming us from our roomies who arrived first from Canada.
They were a hoot-n-a-half...or maybe 2 hoots. But more on them later.


and this is how it ended...a great quick trip down to the harbor before my flight home.

you can guess where...and imagine me snapping my fingers at a Cabana Boy to bring me cocktails or rub suntain lotion (no wait, suntan OIL) on me...
Or I could be at a Conference.

I'd Croak for a Choke!

This is unheard of in our area...
everyone said it'd be at least 2 years before we'd have chokes...
everyone said that artichokes need cool weather, then hot, then cool, then hot (like as in the annual seasons) before we'd have any buds let alone chokes.
everyone said we'd need to fertilize the heck out of the ground.
Well now! I guess everyone was wrong!!!

I also broke out the Fun-Foam number Die-Cuts.

It's Your Day...(no not YOURS!)

I like this set after I started playing with it!
colors are: Blush, Tulip, Chocolate and Garden Green.
No special technique other than some light sponge of GG on the left side just to bring in that last bit of color.
We'll see what else I can do with this set!

I see Salsa in our future....

I've just been veggin' over the long holiday and working on this layout...yes, it took me 2.75 days AND 10 movies to finish it!

Normally, it's wack, slap and glue..however I only had pieces and parts of an old scrapbook kit Road Trip and so things took a bit longer.

Anyhoooot; this layout of of the retirement of Haley's '95 Saturn...it hurt to let it go, but didn't hurt so much AFTER they handed me the $1k check!
