They are fussy eaters...
They eat 50 species of the 600 species of eucalyptus trees...
They conserve their energy by sleeping about 19 hours a day, which makes them appear intoxicated; a myth that their food makes them drunk....
They have rough pads and sharp claws...
They have two opposable digits on their front paw and one claw on the hind paw and also fused digits for grooming on their hind paw and have fingerprints...
Their name is aboriginal for "no drink" which came about because they hardly ever go down to the ground for water as they obtain most of it from the eucalypt leaves that they eat.
What are they?
Where in the world are they?
Wait!...before I answer both questions, I have to just say one thing.
It's hard, but a good thing.
It will tear at my heart...AGAIN!
It will make me feel warm and fuzzy but distraught with worry, too...AGAIN!
So this is what I have to say...AGAIN!
To my daughter.
Love ya, k, bye!
Yup, she's doing an internship for 90 days to take care of these little guys
